On Saturday, April 18th, the Parque del Medal in Vegadeo will be transformed into the setting for the 3rd edition of A Veiga y Olé, Asturian’s own version of the Feria de Abril, organized by the Leña Verde Cultural Association of Vegadeo.

A marquee decorated with artwork by seniors from the Vegadeo Day Center and members of the association will host a full day of festivities, including a bar, food, and background music, from noon until 1:00 AM.

Those feeling daring can show off their finest attire and compete for the Best Gypsy and Country Costume awards. The vermouth session will kick off at 2:00 PM with Grupo D-Rumba, a trio from Oviedo performing for the first time in A Veiga.
