At Amaido we are excited about the start of the new salmon fishing season in 2024 on the Eo River.
This is a highly anticipated event every year, both for Asturians and visitors. We hope this 2024 season continues to attract anglers from around the world to enjoy the Eo River as much as we do.
The Eo River is known, among other things, for being one of the best places to fish for salmon in Spain. Its clean waters are the ideal place for the life of Atlantic salmon. An excellent opportunity for fishermen interested in catching high quality salmon specimens.
Salmon fishing season on the Eo River:
The 2024 fishing season began on April 14 and will extend to July 15.
Also tell you that the trout season in the Eo begins on the third Sunday in May, the 21st and ends on July 31.
News for this season:
Among the new features of this year 2024 for salmon fishing is a quota of 30 units per season. The Volta Reserve becomes a Partial Reserve, which means that on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, it is a free fishing zone and on Fridays and Sundays it is a reserve.
