Next Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., San Tirso de Abres will once again be filled with energy with the 2nd Green Way Race that will follow the Railway Route, a sporting event that unites sport, history, and unique landscapes.

The route crosses the old railway line that connected San Tirso, Trabada and A Pontenova, a natural environment perfect for enjoying running through its tunnels, forests, bridges and views of the Eo River.
It is 12 kilometres of pure sporting atmosphere and nature, with the start in the urban centre of San Tirso and the finish line in the Plaza dos Fornos, in A Pontenova.

A race for everyone

The 2nd Green Way Race is designed so everyone can enjoy it.

  • General Race: For those up for the 12 km race.
  • Youth Races: With distances adapted to each age group, from 250 meters to 2 km.

In addition, there will be prizes, medals, and raffles, not to mention the festive atmosphere at the finish line, where locals and visitors gather to cheer and celebrate.

Registration is now open via the website ccnorte.com with a very affordable price: €8 for the first 50 and €10 for the rest (€2 for lower categories).

The deadline is September 18 at 11:59 p.m.
