Imagine waking up surrounded by nature, with the sound of the Eo River and the forests changing colour around you, while you warm up by the fireplace. All while saving up to €75 on your stay. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
What exactly is the Rural Tourism Voucher and how does it work?
Let’s break it down: you pay €75 and receive a voucher worth €150. Magic? No, it’s just that the Principality of Asturias covers the other half. As simple as that.
This voucher is fully digital (no paperwork, everything on your phone with a QR code) and, after the summer break, it’s up and running again from September 15 to December 31, 2026, with no excluded dates during this period. It’s the perfect time to plan your autumn or winter getaway.
The good news is that each person can buy up to two vouchers a year (if you already used yours before summer, you can get a new one). And if you’re coming with family or friends and book four rooms or more at our Casona, you can use two vouchers on the same booking.
Important: this voucher is only valid at La Casona de Amaido. It cannot be used at the Amaido campsite or the cabins.
Steps to get your Rural Voucher
It won’t take you more than 10 minutes:
- Go to the official Rural Tourism Voucher website
- Fill in your personal details: name, ID number (DNI or NIE), mobile phone, email and postcode
- Pay the €75 (you can pay by card)
- You’ll receive your digital voucher on your phone as a QR code
- When you book with us at La Casona de Amaido, just let us know you want to use the voucher
- When you arrive at La Casona de Amaido, show the QR code and that’s it: the discount is applied automatically
Important things you should know:
- Only valid at La Casona de Amaido; it cannot be used at the campsite or the cabins
- The voucher is personal and cannot be transferred to someone else
- You need to stay a minimum of two nights to use it
- You can spend it all at once or use it little by little across different bookings
- If there’s unused balance left after December 31, 2026, that money is lost (non-refundable)
- The prices you see already include VAT, no surprises
