VEGADEO
The Carnival that kicks off
February 13, 2026

On February 13th, Vegadeo kicks off the Carnival season with its traditional Grand Parade and the lively Carnival Party. This town on the Eo River has always known how to combine tradition and fun, making it a must-see for those who want to start Carnival in style.

The streets of Vegadeo fill with troupes, music, and laughter. Each year, the Festival Committee prepares a spectacular show that leaves no one indifferent, with prizes for the best costumes and an atmosphere that lasts well into the night. Fireworks and a great party are guaranteed!

TAPIA DE CASARIEGO
The most refreshing Carnival with sea views
February 15, 2026

On February 15th at 5:00 PM, Tapia de Casariego presents its Grand Carnival Parade 2026, with a visual proposal that this year features the sea as the protagonist. The poster already announces it: a friendly blue character inviting you to immerse yourself in the most refreshing party in the west.
The prizes in Tapia are among the most generous in the region:

  • Individual Prize: 1st €100, 2nd €75, 3rd €50
  • Group Prize (3-10 members): 1st €200, 2nd €150, 3rd €100
  • Group Prize (more than 10 members): 1st €250, 2nd €200, 3rd €150
  • Couples Prize: 1st €150, 2nd €125, 3rd €100
  • Brass Band Prize: 1st
  • Float Prizes: 1st €300, 2nd €250, 3rd €200

EL FRANCO
Tradition and participation with a family character

El 7 de marzo, El Franco celebrated the Grand Carnival parade in A Caridá, one of the most participative and queridos of the area. This special Carnival has a familiar and familiar character, so many adults and children have a space to shine.

The day arrived at 1:00 p.m. with a lively session Vermú on the grounds of the park, a cargo ship of the incomprehensible Charanga in Trangayada. At 6:00 p.m. the start of the Carnival parade, which recorres the main streets of the town, has to go to the plaza redonda del Parque María Cristina.
